Anthony Rendon, the third baseman who was the Texas Rangers reported top target this offseason, signed with the Anaheim Angels for 7 years, $245 million, with a full no trade clause, no option years, and no opt outs.
According to Evan Grant, the Rangers offered 6 years at just under $200 million per year with a vesting option for a 7th year.
