Good morning, folks...
Free agent pitcher Jason Hammel was signed by the Rangers to a minor league deal, giving the team some veteran starting pitching insurance for camp.
The Texas Rangers are also expected to sign free agent Matt Davidson to a minor league deal, and Davidson will get a look as both a pitcher and a corner infielder.
Gerry Fraley looks at how Chris Woodward and staff with navigate the grind of spring training.
And finally, here’s a video of Shin-Soo Choo meeting some dogs that were rescued from the dog meat trade in South Korea, and brought to Animal Hope in Fort Worth to find forever homes. When Ben, who runs Animal Hope and orchestrated getting these dogs here, talked to the folks in Korea who get the dogs and send them to the United States, he asked them what they knew about Texas. They said Shin-Soo Choo...and thus, he felt it would be cool to send them back video of Choo with some of the dogs they helped rescue.
If you’d like to donate to Animal Hope, or would like to see what sort of critters they have that are available for adoption, you can check it out here.
