2019 Texas Rangers Theme Night and Promotional Schedule

A look at the promotional events for the final season at Globe Life Park

MLB: Texas Rangers-Media Day Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

The Rangers released their theme night schedule today for the final season at Globe Life.

Remember, these are the nights you have to buy the special theme night tickets in order to get the promotional items

They announced 17 University Days in partnership with Fox Sports Southwest, which based off my memory could be the most schools they’ve had (not surprising considering it would draw in ticket sales).

One school I found surprisingly missing from the list was Texas A&M as they’ve been included in UDays the past few seasons, though they could always be a mid-season addition, which was the case last year.

TWU- April 15 v. LAA

TCU- May 20 v. SEA

UNT- May 30 v. KC

OSU- May 31 v. KC

Hardin-Simmons- June 1 v. KC

TAMU-Commerce- June 2 v. KC

Abilene Christian- June 4 v. BAL

Tarleton- June 6 v. BAL

OU- June 7 v. OAK

SFA- June 8 v. OAK

Texas Tech- June 19 v. CLE

UT- June 22 v. OAK

Baylor- June 21 v. CWS

McMurry- July 13 v. HOU

UT-Dallas- Aug 31 v. SEA

Dallas Baptist- Sept 10 v TBR

UT-Arlington- Sept 12 v TBR

Appreciation nights include: Police (two nights, two different hats), 911 dispatchers, Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Ops, Coast Guard, Firefighter/EMS, Marines

Along with College Nights, they’ll also be ISD nights (I imagine these might be games full of screaming children — it’s just a guess, but be on the lookout. Not hating on kids, they’re mostly great, just stating stuff):

Fort Worth ISD- March 31 v. Cubs

Carroll ISD- April 12 v. OAK

Godley ISD- April 14 v. OAK

Cedar Hill- April 16 v. LAA

White Settlement- April 17 v. LAA

Everman- April 30 v. PIT

Arlington- May 3 v. TOR

Aledo- June 4 v. BAL

Some of the theme night highlights include not one but two Whataburger nights, Dallas Mavericks Night, Daddy/Daughter night, and Dallas Stars night.

Also if you remember this:

It seems like it has to do with the three Player’s Caps nights the Rangers have scheduled. Three different players teamed up with local DFW artists to create a cap, the Rangers only teased photos with Gallo and Mazara, so the third player is a mystery!
