The Texas Rangers are playing two games simultaneously on Thursday. In one, they will be in Mesa, Arizona to take on the Chicago Cubs from Sloan Park.
There’s conflicting reports on who will start that game with the Rangers’ website saying Adrian Sampson while John Blake is saying Connor Sadzeck. I wouldn’t bet against Blake. Regardless of which chump they throw out there, the Rangers will face Yu Darvish themselves.
Back in surprise, the Rangers will be the “road” team in the own spring home against the Royals where Edinson Volquez will take the mound opposite RHP Jakob Junis.
Lineups:
Thu. SS at CHC: Choo 7, DeShields 8, Guzman 3, Davidson 5, Pence 9, Kiner-Falefa 2, Forsythe 6, Tocci DH, White 4, Sadzeck 1

Thu SS vs. KC: Calhoun 7, Odor 4, Andrus 6, Mazara 9, Gallo 8, Cabrera 5, Mathis 2, Wisdom 3, Santana DH, Volquez 1
