Well this is weird. The Texas Rangers haven’t broke camp in Arizona yet but the Rangers are in Nashville today to play the also Rangers who will likely be Nashville Sounds in an exhibition match to christen the beginning of Texas’ relationship with Nashville as their Triple-A affiliate.
Probable Nashville Sound Ariel Jurado will pitch for the Rangers while likely Frisco Roughrider Taylor Hearn will pitch for Nashville. It’s complicated.

Oh, yeah, a third of the Rangers are also still in Surprise, Arizona to take on stadium-mates Kansas City in the rubber match of the Battle For Surprise and Cactus League finale. Lance Lynn will pitch for Texas opposite RHP Jakob Junis for the Royals.
