2-1 - Rangers rally for another wild comeback win over Cubs 11-10

New, comments

Maybe the 2019 Rangers are actually fun (when they’re not pitching)?

MLB: Chicago Cubs at Texas Rangers Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Delino DeShields hit a grand slam. Jeff Mathis hit a home run. Asdrubal Cabrera hit a glancer off the foul pole. What a weird, wild time it was in Arlington today.

It’s hard to even know how to begin to describe this game. So I won’t even try.

The only thing you need to know is the Rangers won 11-10 on a walk-off wild pitch and they inexplicably took the series from the Cubs two games to one.

Also, this:

Player of the Game: Delino DeShields hit a grand slam! I know you didn’t believe me when I wrote it above up there but I have proof that it happened!

Up Next: The Rangers begin their second series of the season on Monday night against the 1-3 Houston Astros as the Silver Boot battle begins anew. LHP Drew Smyly will make his first start with Texas against RHP Brad Peacock for Houston. First pitch from Arlington is scheduled for 7:05 pm CT.
