Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor was a very late scratch from tonight’s lineup due to a sore right knee. Odor had been slated to play second base, but instead, Logan Forsythe moved from first base to second base, and Patrick Wisdom entered the lineup at first base.
Odor was out of the lineup on Wednesday, as well, though that appears to be due to the Rangers facing tough lefty starter in Robbie Ray, as well as a desire to get Odor his first game not in the starting lineup this season, rather than due to physical limitations. Odor pinch hit in the ninth and then moved to second base for the bottom of the inning. The Rangers were off yesterday.
There is no indication as to whether this is anticipated to keep Odor out of the lineup beyond today. Once we have more info we will update.
