Texas Rangers lefthanded pitcher Taylor Hearn will start a throwing program on Monday, according to Evan Grant on Twitter. Hearn has been on the disabled list since making a spot start on April 25 against the Seattle Mariners.

The 24 year old Hearn started the season in AAA Nashville, and will presumably return there once he is ready to be back in action. I suspect the Rangers will send him out on a rehab assignment in a couple of weeks, and by the end of June he should be making regular starts for the Sounds again.
