Rougned Odor leaves with injury in 9th

Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor left tonights game in the top of the 9th with an apparent leg issue

MLB: Texas Rangers at Tampa Bay Rays Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor was removed from tonight’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays in the top of the 9th inning due to an apparent leg or ankle issue. Odor, after singling, appeared to wince when rounding first, and while he stayed in the game for a pitch, he was ultimately removed, being replaced by Danny Santana.

Its an unfortunate turn of events for Odor, who also had a double and a triple tonight. Tampa’s turf can be difficult on legs, and one has to think Odor will likely get the day off tomorrow, at a minimum.

We will update this when there is more information.
