Bubba Thompson recently returned to action for Down East, and today he hit his first home run of the year, while also drawing a pair of walks. Sam Huff had a hit and an HBP, and Yanio Perez had 4 hits, Newly promoted Sherten Apostel was 0 for 4 with 3 Ks in his high-A debut.

For Hickory, Josh Jung proved to be mortal, going 1 for 4. Frainyer Chavez and Matt Whatley each had two hits, Pedro Gonzalez had a hit and two walks, and Miguel Aparicio had a single, a homer and a walk.

Nick Solak had his first hit in the Rangers organization today, picking up a double for Nashville, and also had an HBP.
