MLB: Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning.

T.R. Sullivan pens his latest on The Texas Rangers and the Search for Answers after last night’s 7-3 loss to the Mariners.

Levi Weaver takes a deep dive look into how Chris Woodward and the coaching staff are trying their darndest to unlock the potential of key guys being counted on as core members of the rebuild.

On that subject, Evan Grant writes that recent struggles could be due to burnout from a season of pushing the new programs hard but with the staff feeling like it will pay off in the end.

Stefan Stevenson notes that the Rangers got a modicum of good news as an MRI on Shawn Kelley’s arm didn’t show any structural damage. Kelley will still miss time, however, as he hit the injured list yesterday.

Sullivan has more on Kelley’s injury and how the Rangers will fill out their pitching staff over the next few days.

Matt Fisher ponders if it’s time to trade Mike Minor or not and gives his reasons for why it would or would not be a good idea.

Jared Sandler’s SANDbox covers all the angles on what we can expect from the Rangers ahead of the trade deadline.

And, lastly, Jamey Newberg writes that Adrian Beltre left a hole the size of the universe at third base but the Rangers have rapidly started filling it with promise over the last calendar year.

Have a nice day!
