Jason Bahr went five innings and Demarcus Evans closed it out for the Roughriders

Weird night on the farm tonight, with Hickory, Down East and Frisco combining to win their games 5-2. Well, they weren’t all tonight — Down East played an early game.

Jason Bahr went five innings in his start for Frisco, allowing a single run on 4 hits, 2 walks and 3 Ks. Demarcus Evans retired all 3 batters he faced, striking out 2, to lower his ERA for Frisco to 1.21. Frisco had three hits — 1 apiece by Leody Taveras, Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Michael De Leon.

For Down East, Sam Huff had a pair of hits, and Bubba Thompson, J.P. Martinez, Curtis Terry and Yohel Pozo each had a hit.

For Hickory, Kelvin Gonzalez threw 2 scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 2.78. Josh Jung was 0 for 4 with 2 Ks

For Nashville, Joe Barlow gave up a hit and 2 walks in 0.2 IP. Locke St. John gave up 5 runs in 0.2 IP. Scott Heineman had 3 hits, and Nick Solak was 1 for 3 with a walk.
