The Rangers are below .500 for the first time since May

Coincidentally, the last time before right now that the Rangers were below .500 was on May 27 when they lost to the Seattle Mariners. After a 8-5 beating at the hands of the M’s tonight, the Rangers are back below the .500 mark after enjoying over two months of positive baseball.

It was fun while it lasted.

Player of the Game: Well, if it was a Rangers baseball game in 2019, and someone did something good in it, it was probably Danny Santana. Santana took one deep tonight for his 16th of the season.

Up Next: The Rangers and Mariners play another baseball game and Mike Minor is still listed as the starter for Texas against a to be determined start for Seattle because half the players on these teams could be somewhere else by 3:00 pm tomorrow. First pitch for Wednesday night’s contest is scheduled for 7:05 pm CT.
