Leody Taveras had a three hit night and Jason Bahr threw six scoreless for the Roughriders

The Frisco Roughriders had Jason Bahr on the mound tonight, and the righthander put up 6 strong innings against the Padres’ AA affiliate. Bahr didn’t allow any runs, allowed just 2 hits and 2 walks, striking out 6. Rehabbing Luke Farrell had 2 shutout innings, walking 2 and striking out 2. Leody Taveras had a big game as well, going 3 for 5 with a triple.

Mike Matuella continued his strong finish to the 2019 season, recording a scoreless inning with a hit and a K. Sam Huff singled, doubled and homered, Bubba Thompson had a hit, a walk and a steal, Sherten Apostel had a pair of hits, and Curtis Terry had a hit and two walks.

For Nashville, Joe Barlow retired all 3 batters he faced, 1 via strikeout. Ronald Guzman had a home run, and Nick Solak had a single.

Hickory won 2-1 today, but only had two hits. Josh Jung and Miguel Aparicio each had a double and a walk.

Spokane put 17 runs on the board tonight, with Derwin Barreto getting 3 hits and a walk and David Garcia logging a single and two doubles.
