Frisco’s Leody Taveras had another nice night at the plate tonight, going 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He still hasn’t shown much power at AA, but hey, he’s 20...there’s still time for that to come. And Leody doesn’t have to have much power to have value in the majors.
For Hickory, Jonathan Ornelas and Josh Jung each had a single and a double, and Tyreque Reed had a double and a homer. Hever Bueno had a rare bad outing, allowing 2 runs in 2 IP, pushing his ERA up at 2.12.
Alexander Ovalles had a pair of hits for Spokane tonight, including a home run, and David Garcia had a pair of hits.
As for Nashville, Ian Gibaut struck out 3 in 1.2 IP, and Joe Barlow had a K in 0.1 IP. Nick Solak had a single, double and home run, Ronald Guzman had two hits and a walk, and Eli White had a hit and a walk.
