An uneventful day on the farm

Not a whole lot of note today in the Rangers Minor leagues

One of the quieter days we have had on the farm this year, despite all the U.S. affiliates being in action;

Frisco’s C.D. Pelham threw a scoreless inning while allowing a walk, as he continues to show improvement after his miserable mid-summer stretch. Leody Taveras had a single, and Yonny Hernandez had a single and a double.

For Nashville, Wei-Chieh Huang allowed a run on 2 walks and 2 Ks in an inning of work. Joe Barlow had a scoreless inning that included a hit, a walk and 2 Ks. Scott Heineman homered in his only plate appearance and then was lifted, so crank up the speculation about whether he’s coming up tomorrow. Nick Solak continued tearing shit up in the PCL, logging 3 hits.

Down East saw J.P. Martinez register a home run, a walk and a stolen base. Curtis Terry also homered, and Sherten Apostel had a pair of stolen bases.

Justin Slaten had 2 scoreless IP for Spokane today with 2 hits. Alexander Ovalles had a hit and a stolen base.
