The Rangers first rounder broke out of a recent slump with a three hit game for Hickory

Josh Jung had been struggling of late, but broke out of it today with a three hit game for Hickory, logging two singles and a double, raising his OPS to 773. Frainyer Chavez has a single, a double and a walk, Tyreque Reed had a hit and a walk, and Pedro Gonzalez had a double.

Frisco’s Demarcus Evans struck out 2 of the 3 batters he faced in a scoreless inning of work.

For Down East, Sherten Apostel had 2 more walks, Sam Huff had a hit and a walk, and J.P. Martinez had a single, a triple and a walk.

For Nashville today, Kyle Bird allowed a hit and a HBP while striking out 1 in 0.2 IP. Joe Barlow retired the only batter he saw. Ronald Guzman had a pair of hits, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa had a double.
