The Texas Rangers beat the Detroit Tigers yesterday by a score of 5-4.

Jose Leclerc threw a ball over the right field roof after closing out the game, and while Chris Woodward says he will talk to Leclerc about that, he’s not mad he did it.

In calling up Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Jose Trevino, Scott Heineman and Emmanuel Clase, the Rangers are getting an opportunity to evaluate some younger players, but are not waving a white flag on the season.

Kevin Sherrington says the Rangers need to find Danny Santana a regular spot because he “is the Rangers’ star.”

Nomar Mazara’s playing time, and future with the club, are in question at this point.
