Down East had a doubleheader, with John King starting game 2. He went 5 IP, giving up 1 run on a solo homer, striking out 4 and not walking anyone. Michael Matuella had 4 Ks and a walk in 2 innings of work, and his recent string of good performances has his ERA down to 3.38.

Frisco had a bullpen game today, and Luke Farrell continued his rehab with a scoreless inning. C.D. Pelham, who has been much better of late, struck out the side on 14 pitches (10 strikes) in an inning of work.

For the Crawdads, Hever Bueno went 2 shutout innings, walking 1, and getting his ERA on the year down to 1.41. Josh Jung had a single and a double.

Dylan Bice, who has been on the injured list for a while after starting the year at Hickory, threw a scoreless inning for the AZL Rangers. Heriberto Hernandez was a triple shy of the cycle and now has an OPS of 1171.
