The Texas Rangers have announced that the fan at Globe Life Park who reportedly harassed and made unpleasant comments to a Hispanic family, and who was seen in a photo shared by the fan making an obscene gesture in a photo the family took of themselves, has been identified and indefinitely banned from attending Rangers home games due to violating the club’s fan code of conduct.

The Rangers have indicated that they have no other comment on the matter at this time.

The incident in question occurred last Saturday, and went viral after the Jessica Romero posted on Facebook about the fan in question loudly making racist comments as well as making profane gestures when they were photographing themselves. The Rangers have offered the Romeros tickets to any home game in 2019.
