The Texas Rangers Instructional League and Futures Camp rosters and dates have been announced today.
The Instructional League team will be based in Surprise, and generally consists of younger players in the lower minors. It is slated to go from September 9 through October 2, and there are 51 players involved.
The Futures Camp, meanwhile, is going to be based in Frisco, running from September 21 through October 6. This group consists of 40 of the Rangers’ more advanced prospects, and will include games at Globe Life Park against Dallas Baptist on September 26 and TCU on October 1. There will also be games at Frisco on September 24, against Grayson College, on September 28, against West Texas A&M, and on October 4 and October 6, against Texas Tech.
