Bubba Thompson started in left field and batted ninth for the Surprise Saguaros yesterday, and had a solid game at the plate. Thompson singled and drew a walk in four plate appearances, and also stole a base. Thompson now has a 653 OPS in 5 games in Arizona Fall League action.

The other Rangers prospect who appeared for Surprise yesterday was pitcher Nick Snyder. Snyder allowed 3 hits, including a home run, and allowed 3 runs in 1 inning of work. The 23 year old righthander, who worked out of the bullpen for Hickory this year, has now logged two innings for Surprise, having thrown a scoreless inning last week.
