Good morning, folks...

The Texas Rangers have until noon today to exchange arbitration numbers with Joey Gallo, Danny Santana and Rafael Montero, their currently-unsigned arbitration-eligible players. It is part of the team lore that they haven’t gone to arbitration with a player since Lee Stevens back in February, 2000, and it seems unlikely they will break that streak this year.

Evan Grant has his latest Evan Help Us column up, discussing Nolan Arenado, Todd Frazier, Nicholas Castellanos, Joey Gallo, and relief options for 2020.

And some bittersweet news...our own KevinWC will no longer be contributing to the site, as he is joining the front office of the Baltimore Orioles, because apparently the Orioles have to even steal Rangers’ writers.
