The A’s will now face the Astros in a best of five series starting Monday, with the winner of that series facing the winner of the Rays/Yankees series that also starts Monday.
The Dodgers, meanwhile, will face the winner of tomorrow’s game between the Padres and the Cardinals. The Padres evened their series today with an 11-9 win.
The Braves will face the winner of the Marlins/Cubs series. The Marlins won Game 1 yesterday, but today’s game was postponed due to inclement weather.
The NLDS will begin on Tuesday.
