The 2020 MLB season will be ending later this week once the World Series wraps up, which means the 2020-21 MLB offseason will then be officially underway.
The Texas Rangers have already indicated that payroll will likely drop from 2020, and indications are that they are not expecting to go after the top names in free agency this offseason.
That doesn’t mean that we can’t want them to, though.
