MLB: Houston Astros at Texas Rangers Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning.

The big news from yesterday, as T.R. Sullivan notes, is that Eric Nadel will be back for at least two more season to continue providing an oasis among the other broadcast options for the Rangers.

Evan Grant writes that Nadel will cover 127 games in 2021 and 117 in 2022 and then maybe the Rangers will be good again and he’ll come back for some more.

Jeff Wilson writes about the five things the Rangers need to do to have a successful offseason.

Tim Dierkes of MLB Trade Rumors has published their annual top 50 free agents predictions and thinks the Rangers will land 25-year old KBO star shortstop Ha-Seong Kim and no one else.

Over at The Athletic, Jim Bowden predicts what the contracts of the top 25 free agents will look like.

And, at ESPN, Craig Edwards takes a look at the Gold Glove candidates of which the Rangers have two. The Rangers did not have any nominees among MLB’s other award announcements with perhaps only Lance Lynn getting snubbed as a top three AL Cy Young candidate being anything resembling a surprise in this case.

Be well!
