The Texas Rangers players have decided to work out together in Surprise, Arizona, until March 21, the date that spring training was supposed to end, per Evan Grant on Twitter. The players will then return to the Metroplex and work out together while they wait for normal baseball activities to resume.

The major league players have the option of staying in Surprise, staying in the Metroplex, or going home (wherever home is), but the Rangers — described as being pretty tight knit — apparently decided they wanted to stick together, and met to discuss and decide on where they would go,

They will, I imagine, do workouts at the new ballpark once it is ready, though Jon Daniels says work still needs to be done to have it ready. The Coronavirus crisis means we are going without baseball for the time being, but the Rangers will be getting through this as a team.
