Texas Rangers will not stay together after all

MLB is strongly recommending that players go home rather than working out together in groups

You know how the Texas Rangers players all agreed to stay together and work out together in Arlington during the coronavirus hiatus?

Well, that’s not going to happen. MLB sent a memo out to teams strongly recommending that players not stay together in large groups, but rather, as part of the social distancing plan, go back home (wherever home is). As a result, the Rangers are reportedly announcing new plans this evening that involves players not hanging out together.

So, that sucks for the players, who won’t be able to get through the crisis all together in one place. It is also a very minor thing in the overall scope of the worldwide emergency.
