Back in the final days of May last season, the Rangers were in Seattle and teetering back and forth on the .500 line. In a game started by Jose Leclerc as an opener after he had lost his closer job in April, the Rangers blew a 3-0 lead and trailed 7-5 heading into the eighth inning when the rallied to tie the game and then took an 8-7 lead an inning later.

New Rangers closer Shawn Kelley then allowed the first two Mariners to reach in the bottom of the ninth in a one-run game before getting a strikeout to bring Rangers killer Kyle Seager to the plate. Considering the fact that this one is getting the re-broadcast treatment, you won’t have to avert your eyes.

Go Rangers!
