Jon Daniels says that the lack of a minor league system is going to result in some interesting roster dynamics, though it is unlikely that any developing prospects will get their feet wet unless they were already being considered for major league exposure.
Daniels is optimistic about there being baseball this year but the players are concerned about how to do that while still playing a game that people want to watch.
If a deal is reached between the players and the league we will likely see a second spring training beginning in June with games starting in July.
