Rangers update for Saturday, May 30

Good morning, LSB.

Evan Grant has two really good pieces up this morning, one being a look back at the night that Ruben Mateo snapped his leg in half and how it changed the path of the Rangers’ franchise.

The other is a pretty heavy post about former Ranger Adrian Sampson, who lost his father to cancer earlier in the month and who went from his father’s funeral straight into two weeks of self-isolation before returning to his KBO team.

At the FWST, Jeff Wilson writes about the world’s most expensive graduation hall.

Bleacher Report has a piece up on Esteban Loaiza, who’s currently in prison for dealing massive amounts of cocaine, in case you’d forgotten.

That’s about it. Have a good weekend.
