The Texas Rangers will continue paying their minor league players $400 per week through September 7, per the beat guys on Twitter. September 7 is when the minor league regular season was scheduled to end.

With minor league seasons canceled, and minor leaguers not covered by the MLBPA, there has been uncertainty at various times this year over their income situation. Teams have generally been paying $400 per week to non 40 man roster minor leaguers, committing for periods of time that have ended up being extended. The Rangers had previously committed to keep paying their minor leaguers that amount through July 31, but before now had not given any indication as to the plan beyond that date.
