Texas Rangers lineup for July 25, 2020 against the Colorado Rockies: starting pitchers are Mike Minor for the Rangers and Jon Gray for the Rockies.

Game 2 of the Rangers 2020 season goes this afternoon at 3:05 p.m. at the Shed in Arlington, and manager Chris Woodward has Jeff Mathis behind the plate for Texas. Mathis caught 27 games for Minor last season, and the Rangers made a clear effort to pair Mathis up with Minor as much as possible until Mathis went on the injured list in September, so him getting the start today is not unexpected.

Willie Calhoun is also making his 2020 debut, though he is at DH as a concession to his hip issue that sidelined him at the end of summer camp.

The lineup:

Choo — LF

Elvis — SS

Santana — CF

Gallo — RF

Odor — 2B

Frazier — 1B

Calhoun — DH

IKF — 3B

Mathis — C

It is a 3:05 start and is on Fox Sports Southwest.

UPDATE — IKF has been scratched with a tight left hamstring. Frazier moves to 3B, and Ronald Guzman will play 1B.
