Good morning, LSB.
Evan Grant writes that Rangers’ closer Jose Leclerc has hit the IL with a shoulder injury similar to Corey Kluber’s from earlier in the week.
Levi Weaver names some possible candidates to take over the closer role from Leclerc, with his number one option being “nobody.”
TR Sullivan has some notes on the bullpen too, along with answers to other fan questions.
Jeff Wilson writes that the Rangers will face two new opponents this weekend: the Giants, and a world fulla Covid.
Speaking of, Evan Grant has a feature story on Scott Heineman, who will face off against brother Tyler in San Francisco.
Grant also answered some Twitter questions.
The MLB announced an eight game suspension for American hero Joe Kelly, which would be equivalent to that of a 22-game suspension in a normal season. Keep in mind Rougned Odor got suspended eight games for actually punching a dude in the face.
That’s all for today, be well.
