The Texas Rangers schedule for the 60 game 2020 season has been officially released today. The first regular season game at the new ballpark will be on July 24, as the season starts with a three game set against the Colorado Rockies from July 24-26, followed by two games at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks on July 28-29.
After an off day on July 30, the Rangers go to San Francisco for three games against the Giants on July 31 through August 2, then play at Oakland on August 4-6. That’s followed by three games against the Angels at home from August 7-9 and three against the Mariners from August 10-12.
After an off day, Texas plays 17 games in 17 days as follows:
At Colorado August 14-16
Home against the Padres August 17-18
At San Diego August 19-20
At Seattle August 21-23
Home against Oakland August 24-27
Home against the Dodgers August 28-30
After an off day on August 31, Texas is at Houston September 1-3 and Seattle September 4-7, then returns home for the Angels on September 8-10 and Oakland on September 11-13.
The final Ranger off day is September 14, after which they have three games in Houston, four games in Anaheim and two games in Arizona. They finish up the season from September 24-27 with four games at home against the Astros.
