MLB: Texas Rangers at Oakland Athletics Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, LSB.

Jeff Wilson has notes from yesterday’s loss to Oakland, where Mike Minor had another rough one and the A’s completed the sweep.

Wilson also has some quotes from Chris Woodward on the stellar debut from rookie Anderson Tejeda, quotes that definitely won’t infuriate anyone.

Evan Grant writes about Tejeda’s big day as well, where the rook became the first Ranger since Nomar Mazara to homer in his debut.

Grant also has a post discussing the Rangers early season problems, and like, hey, this season is really short.

Levi Weaver has more on Tejeda, and I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to notice Chris Woodward’s weird request to see a live bat.

Weaver wrote about Lance Lynn as well and broke down his ridiculous 847 ERA+ to start the season.

TR Sullivan has notes on some Rangers’ roster moves and a Kluber injury update.

Scott Heineman made an appearance on 105.3 and talked about homering with his brother behind the dish.

That’s all for this morning. Happy Friday.
