The Texas Rangers have a whole bunch of roster moves that they announced today.

Rougned Odor has been placed on the 10 day injured list with an eye infection. Along with yesterday’s trades of Todd Frazier, Robinson Chirinos and Mike Minor, that left the Rangers with four open spots on the active roster.

To fill those spots, the Rangers have activated Elvis Andrus and Brett Martin from the 10 day injured list, recalled Anderson Tejeda, and purchased the contract of Eli White. White also takes one of the three 40 man roster spots opened up by the trades yesterday.

Luke Farrell was also activated from the COVID list, which fills another 40 man roster spot. He goes to the Alternate Training Site.

Finally, Bubba Thompson, Steele Walker and Davis Wendzel have been added to the Alternate Training Site. Thompson was the Rangers first pick in 2017, Walker is an outfielder acquired from the Chicago White Sox for Nomar Mazara last winter, and Wendzel was selected last year with the competitive balance pick Texas got from Milwaukee in exchange for Alex Claudio.
