MLB: Houston Astros at Texas Rangers Jim Cowsert-USA TODAY Sports

Jeff Mathis ended his 2020 (and possibly his career) on a high note, going deep for 3 runs to put the Rangers ahead on at bat where he was supposed to lay down a bunt.

Shin Soo Choo still thinks he has something to offer in 2021 and hopes 2020 wasn’t his swan song.

Although if he plays next year, Choo probably won’t be wearing a Ranger uniform.

Chuck Morgan was honored by the Rangers during the game yesterday after 3000 consecutive games as the Rangers PA man and for general awesomeness, and Arlington mayor Jeff Williams named it Chuck Morgan day.

Friday’s walkoff win may have been great baseball theatrics but it cost the Rangers the first overall pick in the 2021 draft.

Former Ranger Hunter Pence has announced his retirement.

Chris Woodward is already looking forward to next spring.
