The Texas Rangers will be without Corey Kluber, Jose Leclerc and Danny Santana the rest of the year, per Chris Woodward (via the beat guys on Twitter).
Kluber and Leclerc have been on the shelf for most of the season due to shoulder muscle tears suffered soon after the start of the regular season. Both have been expected to miss the entire season, and this is just confirmation that that will in fact be the case.
Santana was sidelined with a sore forearm, returned from the injured list briefly, and then went back on the injured list with a sore elbow.
Finally, Woodward also said the team wants to see its young infielders, so Elvis Andrus and (if and when he’s activated from the injured list) Rougned Odor will not be playing every day the rest of the way.
