Tuesday Morning Texas Rangers Update

Good morning. This is going to be a weird MLB dot com article heavy morning links post as it seems not many folks have been raring to get back to writing about the Rangers after the holidays.

Though, first, it’s worth acknowledging Bianca Smith, the recently named first Black woman coach in pro baseball history. She also happens to have ties to the Texas Rangers as she interned in the front office in 2017.

Mark Feinsand names the All-Trade-Rumor team with Joey Gallo manning a spot in the outfield, though the Gallo rumors haven’t been particularly fervent thus far this winter.

No one would have expected it going into the offseason, but the Rangers land on Anthony Castrovince’s list of the busiest teams of the winter.

And, someone at texasrangers dot com took the effort to name the all-time single-season Texas Rangers team. I don’t know about that Julio Franco over Ian Kinsler call, though.
