Rangers ownership committee chairman Neil Leibman has been named the president of business operations, in addition to his other duties.

The Rangers have acquired their player to be named later from the Nate Lowe trade, outfielder Carl Chester, who will be assigned to AA Frisco.

The Rangers have also signed right handed pitcher Drew Anderson to a minor league deal with an invite to major league camp.
