The Braves look to close it out, and the Dodgers look to stay alive

Babe Ruth Home Run Braves

The Dodgers and the Braves play Game 6 of their NLCS series tonight, and with the Braves up 3-2 in the series, Atlanta can earn a berth in the World Series against the Astros with a win tonight. The Dodgers, meanwhile, will be trying to force a Game 7 with a win.

The Dodgers are sending Walker Buehler to the mound for today’s game, and Buehler will be going on short rest. Max Scherzer, who was expected to start, has been pushed back to a possible Game 7 start after having what was described as a “dead arm” during his Game 2 start.

The Dodgers have also made another roster move, with Joe Kelly being removed from the roster after suffering a biceps injury in the first inning of Game 5. Kelly is being replaced by lefthander David Price.

The Braves, meanwhile, will be sending Ian Anderson to the mound as the starter.

7:08 p.m. Central start time.
