Good morning, folks...

The World Series is over. The not-Astros won. The offseason has officially begun.

The best part of the not-Astros winning? Its not that the Astros didn’t is that Ron Washington finally has a ring. That makes me genuinely happy.

And with the offseason beginning, Carlos Correa is entering free agency, where he is likely to command one of the largest contracts of anyone this offseason, and is seen as a potential Texas Rangers target in free agency.

Astros pitching coach Brent Strom said after the game that, at age 73, he has decided not to return in 2022 as the team’s pitching coach.
