Noah Syndergaard and Michael Conforto, two players discussed as possible Rangers targets, received qualifying offers from the Mets, so as of now (and pending potential changes in the new CBA that is still to be negotiated), if the Rangers were to sign either, it would cost them a second round draft pick.
