Good morning.

Ken Rosenthal ponders how many actual dollars will be spent by the Texas Rangers after their overtures about being active in free agency this winter.

If the Rangers do spend money, perhaps they will spend some on starting pitching and Aaron Gleeman ranks the top 25 starting pitcher free agents.

Mark Polishuk at MLB Trade Rumors lists the 14 players who received qualifying offers ahead of free agency.

Kiley McDaniel ranks the top 50 free agents and takes a stab at guessing their eventual upcoming price tag.

Evan Grant notes that Clayton Kershaw is now officially a free agent and he did not receive a qualifying offer. Let the legend returns home narrative begin.

Mark Feinsand names a free agent for each team that could make a return and for the Rangers it is Brock Holt which is to say that the Rangers don’t have a free agent that is likely to re-sign with Texas.

Bryan Hoch notes that Joey Gallo won the Gold Glove for right field again. Gallo spent the majority of the season with the Rangers and played in the majority of his games in right field with Texas so we’re claiming this one.

And, Jeff Wilson writes about Ron Washington finally being on the winning side of the final out of the season after 52 years in baseball even if the memories of being on the other side don’t go away.

Have a nice day!
