Free agent projections are out from Fangraphs and ESPN, and so it is that time again — time to kick off the “should the Rangers sign This Player?” series of offseason polls.
We are going to come out hot and start off with Carlos Correa, the consensus top player on the market and the guy who is thought by many to be one of the Rangers’ top targets.
Over at ESPN, Kiley McDaniel projects that Correa will get 9 years, $297 million. At Fangraphs, Ben Clemens also has Correa at 9 years, $297 million, while the median crowdsource is 8 years, $30 million.
Because we like round numbers here at LSB, we will use $300 million for this poll.
Would you want the Rangers to sign Carlos Correa to a 9 year, $300 million deal this offseason?
