Good morning. Welcome to first full workout day at spring training. May you all be in the best shape of your life.

Evan Grant has a trio of stories for us today:

  • The Texas Rangers are trying to get back to a culture of meritocracy but how they handle Rougned Odor could be the ultimate test for that philosophy.
  • Manager Chris Woodward doesn’t anticipate top third base prospect Josh Jung making the Opening Day roster.
  • Kyle Cody, however, has a pretty decent shot at the Opening Day roster after impressing the club last summer. Though, the team doesn’t know many innings Cody will be able to throw in 2021.

Anthony Castrovince tabs Mike Foltynewicz as the Rangers’ most intriguing player at spring training.

The MLB Pipeline crew lists relief prospect Fernery Ozuna as the NRI prospect to watch in Rangers camp this spring.

You folks interested in owning your very own David Dahl bobblehead? That tops Will Leitch’s list for the Rangers.

And, the first MLB dot com Power Rankings of spring training is out and buddy, we’re not last!

Be well!
