Caesars Sportsbook has 2021 win over/under totals out, and the Rangers aren’t looking great

The 2021 MLB Over/Under Betting Lines have been released by Caesar’s Sportsbook, and while the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees have impressed Vegas, the Texas Rangers have not.

The Rangers’ over/under line is currently set by Caesar’s at 69.5 wins — that’s ahead of only the Detroit Tigers (66), the Baltimore Orioles (64), the Colorado Rockies (62.5) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (58). Right ahead of the Rangers are the Kansas City Royals and the Seattle Mariners, at 71 wins.

I’ll take the over on 69.5 wins, but hey, I’m an optimist. As a point of reference, Fangraphs has 72 wins projected for the Rangers, while PECOTA has the Rangers at 67 wins.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have just about lapped the field according to Caesar’s, which has the Dodgers’ win total at 104.5. The only other teams with an over/under greater than 90 are the New York Yankees (97), the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres (92), and the Chicago White Sox (90.5).

And, hey, let’s have a poll, why not. Where do you think the Rangers end up relative to 69.5 wins in 2021?

Will the Rangers be over or under 69.5 wins in 2021?
