Good morning, LSB.
Yesterday the Rangers signed former Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz to a one-year deal.
Evan Grant says Folty (which is the nickname I bequeath upon him for the sake of convenience) will join the hodge-podge of Ranger lefties vying for a spot at the back end of the rotation.
Jeff Wilson has some notes on the former all-star as well. Remember kids, make the All-Star Game once and you’re a “former all-star” forever.
Elsewhere, Kennedi Landry has an updated outlook on whatever the Rangers plan on doing at third base.
And Jayson Stark looks at the five biggest moves of the offseason and what impact they’ll have on the 2021 season.
That’s all for this morning. Have a good weekend.
