Texas Rangers lineup for March 1, 2021, against the San Francisco Giants:

Texas has their second spring game of the year today, and like yesterday’s game against the Kansas City Royals, it will be a six inning affair due to limitations on the number of available arms right now. Of note is that 2019 supplemental first rounder Davis Wendzel is playing shortstop — he was drafted as a third baseman out of Baylor, but the team has reportedly said he is someone they want to look at at all the infield positions, and I suspect whenever and wherever he starts the year in the minors, he will be logging innings all over the diamond.

The lineup:

Taveras — CF

Dahl — DH

Lowe — 1B

Odor — 2B

Trevino — C

Wendzel — SS

Adolis — RF

DeShields — LF

Culberson — 3B

The pitchers will be (for one inning apiece):

Kyle Gibson

Kolby Allard

Taylor Hearn

Sam Gaviglio

Spencer Patton

Josh Sborz
